ITINERARY:
Today, we’ll visit one of Tequisquiapan’s master artisans in basket weaving. Tequisquiapan is well-known for its skill and tradition in basket weaving which helped put the town on the verified list of Pueblos Magicos of Mexico. We’ll spend a few hours learning from these artisans and practice with our own hands how to weave in the style of their tradition and take home something special.
For lunch, we’ll visit the only organic-certified dairy farm in Queretaro where we’ll meet the dairy ranchers practicing regenerative values and get to meet the cute and fuzzy jersey cows. These animals are so well cared for! After our tour of the farm, we’ll get to taste a selection of their most popular cheeses and then enjoy an outdoor picnic lunch where we’ll make our own pizzas using their cheeses and homemade ingredients to enjoy.
